Queenstown Town is at the district 03
and located at beside Bukit Merah Town.
The area of Queenstown stretches along the Commonwealth Avenue.
It is accessible via the Queenstown and Commonwealth MRT stations.
Queenstown Town has the distinction being the first satellite town built by the HDB.
The construction started as early in mid of 1952 with the last neighbourhood completed in 1973.
There are some 35, 000 flats in Queenstown with the majority 3-room followed by 4-room types.
It serves a population of some 120,000 people.
The famous and oldest shopping mall is Queensway Shopping Central.

The majority of the flats at Woodlands
are 3-room and 4-room.
Same as Bukit Merah Town, there are one of the oldest estate
which has many 3I and 4I HDB flats. It is built since 1970 which the master room doesn't
attached the bathroom.
For private residential properties, Queens, The Anchorage and Normanton are the high-class condominium
in this area.
