Bukit Batok
Bukit Batok Town is at the district 23 and located at north of Jurong East Town. It can be considered as a new town which is just developed in the early 1980s. It covers around 800 hectares of land with around 40% occupied for residential purpose, others mostly used for the nature reserve. Bukit Batok has two MRT station, that is Bukit Batok MRT station and Bukit Gombak MRT station. The famous shopping mall here is West Mall Shopping Centre which is near to Bukit Batok MRT and Bus Interchange. The Bukit Batok Community Library also can be found in the West Mall. There are two parks there, that are Bukit Batok Nature Park and Bukit Batok Town Park. The famous Little Guilin also can be found next to Bukit Gombak MRT station.

Accommodation
The majority of the flats at Bukit Batok
are 4-room. The newest HDB flats here are located near
to Bukit Gombak MRT station which are Blk 383-395(Good
View) which are just launch completed on Ogos 2004.
The highest floor can be up to 28 floors which is the
highest HDB flat over this estate. Most of the residents
are moved from Hill View old flats. The newest flat
can be sold in the resale market at Blk 620-622, 623-628,
188-193, 297-299, 290A-290H, 291A-291H, 288A-288H and
289A-289H, which released on 1997/1998. For private
residential properties, The Jade and The Madeira are
the newest(TOP on 2004/2005) high-class condominium
in this area. Other high-class condominium are Guilin
View, Regent Heights and etc.

There are two MRT stations in this district, Bukit Batok MRT Station and Bukit Gombak MRT station . The Bus Interchange also available beside the Bukit Batok MRT station. The Bukit Gombak Sports Hall, Bukit Gombak Stadium, Little Guilin and Bukit Batok Town Park are just opposite the Bukit Gombak MRT station. CDANS Bukit Batok Country Club and Bukit Batok Golf Range also near by it. The NKF, The Civil Service Club and Bukit Batok Swimming Complex also available in this estate.
